Troubled Baton Rouge charter school gets new life, plan for new management

In an increasingly rare occurrence, common sense prevailed in the decision on whether to close a charter or turn over its management to a different operator. It’s refreshing to see that state BESE policy makers chose to keep a school open under new management rather shut it down, resulting in sending students back to failing district-run schools they fled from in the first place.
