California bills aim to crack down on for-profit charter schools

CA DemsNews alert for the folks at CALmatters!  There’s no such thing as a “for-profit” charter school.  The proposed legislation that would prohibit a charter school’s board from contracting for educational services from a for-profit entity is merely just another attempt by charter opponents to stifle charter school innovation and autonomy.
